However, over the past 9 months or so, things have greatly improved.Īll my switches now stay connected and come back even after power loss - that is except for two switches. At first the stability was awful, I was having to reset several switches multiple times a week. I so bothered by this, I am ready to order Casetas to replace them and just get rid of these things.

They need to release a firmware update for these things. I sent several messages through the Leviton site but it seems pointless. If you have them or have looked for support on them, please let me know. I didn't believe it, until mine started their bad behavior. I recently installed 2 Lutron Caseta dimmers, because using them plus pico remotes instead of wiring up a 4 way seemed like a better/easier setup. I now have to reset them, and re-add them to Homekit, and reconfigure all my scenes and automations. When I checked my unifi console, I can see some of them, but they have APIPA or no IP addresses. I rebooted them all one by one, but they stayed unresponsive. All but 2 of my switches lost their configuration. Then, this morning, we had a brief power outage (3 seconds). I am now rebooting 2 to 3 switches a week. Then they started doing it more and more.

I rebooted it by holding down the switch until the LED turns amber and function returned. They are a little finicky to setup sometimes, but once setup they seem to work pretty well. 2 of them are 3 ways, with the matching remotes. I have 11 Leviton Decora Smart switches and dimmers (a mixture). I have 2 Ubiquiti APs that cover my house, my yard, and beyond without issue for all my other devices. Let me start by saying I have a good WiFi setup.
